Resumen: We have prepared composites dosaging fractions in weight of diferents rubbers to a unsaturated polyester resin, before it cured. These materials are composed by a matrix of unsaturated polyester resin and a dispersed second phase of rubbery particles. Using double torsion testing we have studied the propagating crack and we have calculated the values of Kic . We have determined the evolution of rubbery particles from second phase. The micrography of fracture surfaces are interpreted and related to chemical structure of rubber and substructure for these particles and their interphase to the matrix.
