Resumen: In this work are investiged the effects of fillet weld joint geometry on fatigue crack growth of joints in cantiliver bending. A two-dimensional elasto-plastic analysis is performed to find the local strain and the strain intensity factor. Numerical results are obtained for different curvature p of the weld toe. Experimental resul ts of propagating and non-propagating cracks are carried out in joints of 17 Mn 4 steel. In the base material are obtained the threshold stress intensity factor range t.Kth and the parameters of Paris law m and C. Numerical results are obtrüneq to the threshold stress range for diffrent crack lenght a and curvature p. A good agreement between the experimental and analytical results was obtained.
